Where The Wild Things Are!

I started Beckett’s MAX costume from “Where the Wild Things Are” long before Halloween. I found a plush snowsuit huge enough that I was certain he could wear it well into the winter months. I carefully looked for items that could easily be removed, and I meticulously sewed them on making certain there would be no evidence of the stitches once they were detached. I finally finished three days before Halloween and dressed Beckett up to pose for some photos. OH MY GOSH! The costume barely fit. He had grown so much. There was only room for a diaper underneath and his toes scrunched up to the very end of the footies. Had I known the suit was going to be worn only once, I would have quickly slapped glue on everything. Oh well, he looked adorable in it, and now I have an excuse to shop for a new winter snowsuit.
