Asleep, but still a "Fashion Statement"
Since Beckett is now rolling over we are trying to wean him away from being swaddled. We discovered this unique sleeping sack from New Zealand called a Peke Moe. He loves it, but there is one little problem - it needs an itsy bitsy hole for his thumb to stick out. Since Beckett hasn't learned to retrieve his pacifier yet, he quickly found that his thumb is a great replacement. The first time he wore his Peke Moe, the hand area was sopping wet by the end of his nap. He loves the softness of it, and snuggles right down to sleep without being swaddled. It's too bad he doesn't know to reach out for his pacifier since the Peke Moe allows plenty of room to grasp things. I know - we'll just put grandpa to work on teaching him to recover it. Words like sack, retrieve, and recover sound like a football game anyway!
