Beckett's First Tooth
Even though this picture doesn’t actually show Beckett’s first tooth, it certainly displays how happy he is that it finally broke through. It arrived Friday, January 22. I guess my homemade teething biscuit did the trick. He loved the organic maple syrup and applesauce taste, but wasn’t happy that the biscuit was round. I appreciated the circular shape. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t find a way to shove the entire thing in his mouth. He kept gnawing away at it, trying to break through the “concrete” texture. Next day, sure enough, there was his first tooth! Of course, Charlie made note that Beckett’s teething biscuits reminded him of my homemade buttermilk biscuits. He said he was lucky he still has his teeth after eating those for the past 35 years. Needless to say, Charlie will be eating canned biscuits for awhile!
